The intro of Paperboy was so annoying, although at least you can skip it. I was a fan of the NES version. I didn't care about getting new subscribers, I just liked damaging property. Especially windows. The game and character designs of Word Munchers and Number Munchers always reminded me of NES games like Q*bert, Bubble Bobble, Anticipation, and Tetris.

If the ghosts can't harm pacman (without pacman eating a power pellet) then what's the point? It makes the game far too easy.

The soundtrack is incredibly annoying. Kids must have loved it! Someone with a Moog using the pitch shifter over and over. I like the crash sounds though. Thanks for sharing! It must have been fun in the two player mode! Never saw one in the wild but I was born around the time this came out.

I remember playing this and being told there was like a secret key that would unlock a screen that listed the creators of the game and I actually found it and that was a pretty exciting day for a 13-year-old.
